More about me
I have lived in the South West for most of my life and really love the area and people here. I went to The Royal School in Bath and then eventually to the University of Glamorgan gaining my law degree. Having spent some time in the legal profession I decided that it wasn't for me and moved into the personal administration area becoming self employed at the same time. While helping people in this way was interesting I still felt that I could do more. After gaining additional qualifications in practical bookkeeping, both manual and computerised, I moved into this side of business and was very pleased that I did.
During the last 18 years it has been fascinating to see the changes that have happened, mainly with computerised technology. Moving from manual payroll to computerised, filing returns online and Making Tax Digital for VAT, the changes have made life much easier and convenient. The downside to this is that businesses have also had to move with the times, not so easy if you're not so good with computers and your business has always been paper based. This is where I come in! I can offer bespoke monthly packages, using MTD compatible software and AutoEntry system if required. This can be as simple as taking photos of your receipts/invoices (or sending them to me if you don't have a compatible phone) and me making sure your business accounts are accurately recorded and reported to HMRC.
Mission
My goal is to provide help with keeping accurate accounts. Simply put, I want to help you run your business without the stress and worry of the record keeping side. Doing so allows you to operate with more focus and gain more profit as you can concentrate on the reason you actually started your business.
Compliance
I am fully compliant with current legislation holding full insurance, AML supervision with HMRC, Data Protection Registration Certificate and have an Agent Services Account with HMRC.
